The All-On-4 technique is a method developed for fully edentulous patients, particularly beneficial for those who prefer to avoid sinus lift surgeries in the upper jaw or nerve lateralization procedures in the lower jaw when insufficient bone exists over the mandibular nerve canal. It is ideal for patients who wish to avoid lengthy waiting periods or additional surgical interventions. This technique provides patients with a stable, fixed restoration, allowing for a confident smile and comfortable eating experience. The procedure is personalized, with treatment plans created based on measurements from computed tomography (CT) scans. The process consists of two main stages: surgical placement of implants and prosthetic restoration, both of which are completed in a single session. Initially, a temporary fixed prosthesis is placed, followed by the final permanent prosthesis after three months.
The All-On-4 technique is suitable for individuals of all age groups who are completely edentulous and have been deemed eligible based on clinical and radiological evaluations.
